Job summary

Wellhaven Home Care is hiring part-time caregivers to support clients with daily living tasks, medication reminders, and companionship. You will follow care plans, monitor health, assist with transfers, and collaborate with families and healthcare teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.

The role offers up to $17.00 per hour with 12–30 hours per week, weekly pay, and paid orientation and training. Prior dementia care experience and CPR are preferred, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Prior 2 years experience as a caregiver, CNA, or PCA
• Dementia and long-term care experience is required
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to assist with hands-on care and mobility
• Reliable, compassionate, and communicative
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a bonus

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
• Follow individualized care plans and monitor client health
• Provide medication reminders and support
• Offer companionship and emotional encouragement
• Ensure safety through mobility assistance and proper transfers
• Assist with meal prep and nutritional support
• Document care accurately and report changes to the office
• Collaborate with families, healthcare teams, and staff
