Job summary

HCA Healthcare in Kentucky seeks an administrative role to manage patient flow and scheduling within the Physician Services arm of the network. The role includes handling CPT/ICD-10 coding and coordinating various clinical workflows to ensure smooth patient care.

The position emphasizes adherence to HIPAA, hospital policies, and collaboration with practice staff to obtain necessary documentation and scheduling confirmations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• BLS may be required as per practice standard.

Responsibilities

• Obtains CPT and ICD-10 codes and clinical information for patient treatment from practice staff.
• Determines OR time and coordinates scheduling with facility and anesthesia coverage; ensures required records/equipment are secured.
• Verifies physician is credentialed at the Center or Facility before scheduling.
• Coordinates provider clinic and facility schedules, travel, meetings, and CME participation.
• Supports HIPAA and conforms to HCA Code of Conduct and Compliance policies.
