Colorectal Surgery Physicians Group, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to join a fast-paced team. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday with daytime hours, no nights or weekends, and emphasizes accurate coding, scheduling efficiency, and compliance with HIPAA policies.

You will verify physician credentials, coordinate provider and facility schedules, and ensure necessary records and equipment are ready for procedures. Prior medical office experience is favored.

Qualifications

• High school degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• BLS may be required per practice standard.

Responsibilities

• Obtains CPT and ICD-10 codes and other clinical information for treatment of the patient.
• Determines OR time and coordinates with facility to schedule procedures and anesthesia.
• Verifies physician credentialing at the facility before scheduling patient.
• Coordinates clinic and facility schedules, including time-outs, travel, and meetings.
