Atlantic Health is seeking a Per Diem Phlebotomy Technician to support outpatient testing in Summit, NJ. You will perform venipuncture, EKGs, mid-turbinate swabs, and assist with patient rooming and vital signs.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and adherence to hospital policies. Qualifications include high school diploma and 1-2 years phlebotomy or patient care experience; Certified Phlebotomy Technician preferred and AHA BLS required.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy and patient care experience preferred.
• 1-2 years phlebotomy, secretary-technician or patient care technician experience preferred.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician preferred; AHA BLS required.

Responsabilités

• Perform venipuncture in a safe environment and follow policy.
• Perform ECGs and release orders in Epic as needed.
• Assist with rooming patients and recording vital signs.
• Maintain organized workstation and replenish supplies.
• Adhere to safety policies and infection prevention protocols.
• Collect mid-turbinate swabs for COVID or MRSA testing.
