Qualifications

• Performs venipuncture in a safe environment following Atlantic Health System policy.
• Performs electrocardiogram (EKG) as ordered.
• Assists with rooming patients and vital signs collection.
• Maintains clean, organized workstation and accurate specimen labeling.
• Adheres to OSHA and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and process specimens per policy.
• Enter and release orders in Epic and SoftLab as directed by providers.
• Transcribe orders from paper forms when needed into Epic.
• Maintain logs and support clerical tasks and scheduling.
