HomeGrown is a daytime eatery in Northwest Arkansas seeking a Line Cook (Kitchen Team Member) who is eager to learn and grow within a friendly, fast-paced environment. You’ll work on your assigned prep and cook’s station, following our recipes and presentation standards to deliver high quality meals.

We offer a daytime schedule with no dinner shifts, pay and benefits for full-time team members, and a culture built on kindness, teamwork, and personal development.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and desire to learn
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to follow recipes exactly as written
• Ability to work fast, safe, efficient, and accurately for up to 10 hours per day
• Attention to detail
• Able to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
• Willingness to help with dishes, prep cook responsibilities, and assist other stations
• Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food prep equipment
• Mobility required during the entire shift
• Ability to transport cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day
• Able to respond in emergencies to avoid imminent dangers
• Ability to focus on multiple tasks at fast pace for long hours

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to HomeGrown's recipes and specifications
• Complete all assigned prep work following recipes exactly
• Set up workstation
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects
