HomeGrown is seeking a Line Cook (Kitchen Team Member) to join our daytime eatery. You will handle assigned prep and line duties, ensuring recipes are prepared with high quality and consistent presentation in a fast-paced, scratch kitchen environment.

As a Line Cook you will learn all kitchen roles, maintain strict hygiene and safety standards, and contribute to a welcoming, team-oriented atmosphere that emphasizes kindness and community.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to follow recipes exactly as written.
• Ability to work fast, safely and accurately in a high‑stress kitchen.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and mobility throughout shift.

Responsabilités

• Prepare menu items according to HomeGrown's recipes and specifications.
• Complete all assigned prep work following recipes exactly.
• Set up workstation and maintain cleanliness during shift.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
