Job summary

HomeGrown is a daytime eatery and part of Thrive Restaurant Group. Line Cooks are the pulse of our high-volume, scratch kitchen, responsible for prep and station work, following recipes and ensuring fast, consistent plating.

You’ll join a team that values kindness, teamwork, and learning, and you’ll be done by 3:30 pm daily. Full-time hours come with paid time off and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and desire to learn
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to follow recipes exactly as written
• Able to work up to 10 hours per day in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and moving cases as needed

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to HomeGrown's recipes, plate presentations and specifications.
• Complete all assigned prep work following recipes exactly as written
• Set up workstation
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects
