Job summary

St Julien Hotel & Spa in Boulder, CO is seeking a daytime server for Jill’s Restaurant & Bistro. This part-time role focuses on delivering luxury dining experiences to guests in a fine dining setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining luxury service standards, preparing stations, handling POS transactions, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Morning/afternoon availability and weekend/holiday shifts are required; compensation is $13.80/hour plus gratuities, with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience required, fine dining/luxury hospitality preferred.
• Stand for several hours; lift/push/pull up to 15 lbs.
• TIPS/ServSafe certification required or within 45 days of hire.
• Morning/afternoon availability; weekends and holidays required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow luxury service standards and opening/closing duties.
• Prepare service stations for service.
• Set stations and tables to standard specifications.
• Follow service sequences and timing protocols.
• Identify guests of legal drinking age.
• Know menu items and drink offerings; inform guests about specials.
• Use POS system accurately and process payments.
• Perform side work to keep items available during service.
• Escalate issues to management and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Follow environmental commitments for waste disposal.
• Other duties as requested by manager.
