Misericordia Heart of Mercy is seeking a Developmental Training Nurse to support adults with IDD during daytime programming. You will serve as the clinical point person, manage scheduled medications, assess residents, and triage needs within a structured daytime environment.

Ideal candidates are licensed RNs or LPNs in Illinois with strong assessment and communication skills, the ability to prioritize multiple needs independently, and a commitment to person-centered care and teamwork.

Qualifikationen

• Current Illinois RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Strong nursing assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to independently prioritize and triage multiple resident needs.
• Experience with individuals with IDD, school nursing, community nursing, long-term care, or similar settings is helpful but not required.
• Commitment to person-centered care and supporting individuals with IDD in living full and meaningful lives.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the clinical point person during the Developmental Training program day.
• Manage and administer scheduled medications.
• Assess residents who become ill or have a medical concern.
• Prioritize and triage multiple resident needs independently.
• Communicate important information back to the resident's primary/area nurse and residential nursing team.
• Ensure medical needs arising during the day are appropriately addressed and communicated.
• Support person-centered care for individuals with IDD as they participate in daily programming.
