Job summary

PMC Medical in Arlington Heights, IL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to oversee clinical care and health management for adults with IDD in a community setting. This role offers Monday–Friday daytime hours with no heavy lifting and a meaningful clinical leadership focus.

You will direct health assessments, coordinate care plans, train staff on DHS-approved medication administration, and collaborate with other providers to maintain accurate medical records.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing.
• Solid bedside nursing background with strong clinical judgment.
• Experience with IDD population preferred or a strong desire to serve this population.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for staff training and family coordination.

Responsibilities

• Direct clinical oversight and routine health assessments for adult residents.
• Deliver DHS medication administration training and ongoing clinical guidance to direct care staff.
• Serve as primary clinical resource for caregivers and external healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate medical records and regulatory documentation.
