Chartiers Center, a private non-profit in Pittsburgh, seeks a Program Secretary for the IDD Day Program to provide administrative and operational support. You will be the main contact, manage records, schedule appointments, and assist with program communications to help individuals with IDD engage with the community.
The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or secretarial training, 2–4 years of office experience, strong MS Office skills, and a commitment to confidentiality.
Chartiers Centeris a private, non-profit corporation funded by state, county, third partyinsurancesand private funds. Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day, and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach, and housing program.
As aProgram Secretary forour IDD Day Programwith Chartiers Center, you wouldbe responsible forproviding administrative and operational support for our Day Program that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day functioning of the program while supporting a team dedicated to enhancing the independence and community engagement of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
High School diploma/GED and 4years' experience
OR
Diploma from Accredited Secretarial/Business School and 2years' experienceand computer skills
Experience with an electronic health record is a plus!
