Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Transportation Supervisor for the Day Shift in Shepherdsville, KY. The role oversees daily transportation operations, leads a team of drivers, and ensures timely deliveries while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The position requires 4 years of transportation experience, DOT knowledge, and experience with fleet management systems. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 4:00 AM–1:00 PM with possible overtime; travel up to 15% to domicile sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years transportation experience with DOT regulations and fleet management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff including staffing, training, coaching and performance management.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Rides with drivers for training and evaluation purposes.
• Monitor driver logs, payroll, and expense reports and ensure DOT compliance.
• Ensure safety of drivers and proper vehicle operation and lifting practices.
• Maintain driver qualification files and accident reporting.
• Coordinate with management to minimize costs and optimize routes.
