Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Forklift Operator, Non Formula, to move freight, load/unload, and stock items across cooler, dry, and freezer zones. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment following GMP and safety standards.

You will maintain inventory, enter data, support efficient distribution, and perform daily safety checks. The schedule is Monday through Friday at 7:30 AM, with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 6+ months of warehouse experience with stand-up reach trucks.
• Available for scheduled hours and overtime as needed.
• Monday–Friday schedule, 7:30 AM start.
• Able to stand/walk/reach/lift repeatedly, 10–35 lb, up to 60–90 lb depending on location.
• Work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Locate slots on storage racks and position pallets with forklift or hand stack items.
• Enter product data and locations; verify incoming freight in staging area.
• Replenish pick slots and rotate stock; remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Remove pallets and packing materials; inspect pallets for damage.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform safety checks, obtain supplies, and prepare for operations.
• Wear required PPE and safety gear.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location guidelines.
• Work from receiving sheets and procedures; inspect items for damage and temperature/quality checks.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork and secure equipment.
