The State of Indiana is seeking a Program Administration/Management oriented nurse at Evansville State Hospital. This role involves organizing daily patient care, coordinating treatment plans with clinical staff, and supervising support staff to ensure smooth unit operation.

You will administer medications, document care activities, and maintain safety and infection control standards while providing staff orientation and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Indiana RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to understand and apply medical and facility terminology.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Prioritize and organize the daily care of patients.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical staff.
• Direct support staff to coordinate workflow and report problems to unit supervisors.
• Document nursing notes, transfer forms, and other records accurately.
• Provide orientation and support to staff on the unit.
• Administer medications and monitor treatments according to policies.
• Ensure safety and infection control standards are met.
