Job summary

Responsibilities
- Maintain records reflecting clinical decisions and actions.
- Collaborate with health care professionals to provide care.
- Develop educational programs for patients and groups.
- Obtain patient histories, exams and diagnoses.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies and perform procedures.
- Refer patients to appropriate health care providers.
- Prescribe medication within practice guidelines.
- Provide initial emergency care and coordinate with providers.
- Lead nursing staff in research and quality improvement.
