Job summary

State of Indiana is seeking a dedicated nurse to support program administration and patient care at Richmond State Hospital, a public behavioral health facility. The role emphasizes medication administration, care planning, and collaborative teamwork to ensure safe, effective treatment and reporting.

Qualified candidates will hold an Associate or Bachelor’s in Nursing, be a licensed RN (Indiana), and maintain CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Active Indiana Registered Nurse license and CPR certification.
• Ongoing completion of behavioral intervention training relevant to the assigned setting.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and organize the daily care of patients.
• Administer medications and treatments according to policies.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans for changes in diagnosis or treatment.
• Complete nursing notes, transfer forms, and other records accurately.
• Coordinate workflow and communicate issues to unit supervisors.
