Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and 5S tools; Six Sigma training is a plus.
• Strong safety orientation and ability to foster a safe work environment.
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, ERP) and good mechanical aptitude.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop others in a team setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of production rooms and manage the production team.
• Motivate a safety-first, continuous improvement culture while meeting goals.
• Train department employees on safe work practices and SOPs.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe work environment; enforce GMP and safety standards.
• Lead lean improvement projects to reduce waste and variability across processes.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance tasks and respond to production issues.
• Plan daily production priorities, assign tasks, and monitor performance against targets.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback; develop successors and promote teamwork.
