Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with one or more years’ experience, or 5–10 years of experience in plant operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) is needed.
• Strong organizational and quality/process orientation; ability to communicate effectively and handle conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies are followed and promote safety culture.
• Monitor safety, quality, cost, and efficiency; develop continuous improvement plans.
• Maximize sales generated by processing equipment through adherence to production schedule and scale-up activities.
• Develop staffing plans and optimal production schedules to maximize efficiency and throughput.
• Monitor production operations; take corrective action for deviations; ensure SOP compliance.
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities for repairs and equipment upgrades.
• Set goals with Operations Manager and plant leadership; comply with corporate policies.
• Work long hours including weekends/holidays when required.
