Job summary

Balchem Corporation in Faribault, MN is seeking a production supervisor to oversee dryer, mixing, drying and packaging operations with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency. You will monitor equipment, enforce GMPs and SOPs, and maintain accurate production records.

The role requires leadership of four crew members, adherence to HAACP and safety programs, and collaboration with QA to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• High school education; 6 months of industrial experience required.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety, GMPs, SOPs, and HAACP programs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production in mixing, drying and packaging areas to ensure safety, quality and efficiency.
• Monitor dryer safety and determine when cleaning is necessary for safety reasons.
• Maintain production records and ensure on-line test procedures and SOPs are followed.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies; train and coach crew members.
