Job summary

Balchem Corporation is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead a production team in a food-manufacturing plant. You will ensure safe, efficient production, follow SOPs and GMPs, and coordinate with QA and maintenance to maintain schedule adherence.

The role requires strong math and computer skills, plus 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a related setting. Willingness to work long days, weekends, and holidays as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Some college coursework preferable.
• Three to five years of supervisory or group leader experience in a food plant environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, environmentally responsible, and cost-effective production.
• Maintain production schedule adherence and communicate shifts to Production Manager.
• Supervise and coach team members, conduct training and development.
• Monitor operations, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare batching records and maintain SOP compliance.
