Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on quarry and plant equipment at our Burnet, TX sites. You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, implement effective solutions, and safely operate tools and machinery to complete repairs and installations.

The role requires collaboration with teammates to ensure equipment reliability and uptime, plus maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.

Conditions of Employment

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Physical Demands of the Job

• Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and reach in a physically demanding industrial setting.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier loads with assistance.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and on uneven terrain.
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity required to operate tools and inspect equipment.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
