Intermountain Health LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team with essential tasks and procedures as directed by licensed staff. The role may include Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities on certain units.

Responsibilities include delivering basic patient care, documenting findings, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with RNs and the care team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Formación

• CNA certification is required for practice in Utah or relevant state.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
• Basic computer literacy demonstrated.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver basic patient care (toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration, ambulation)
• Document patient care findings and changes in patient condition promptly
• Monitor patients and collaborate with care team as needed
• Transport medications to RN on the unit as required
• May perform Health Unit Coordinator duties as assigned (phones, orders, records)
• Support plan of care as delegated and perform duties within Scope of Practice
