Job summary

DSV is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the USA North Plains site to oversee inbound/outbound, storage and product flow with a focus on productivity, safety, and quality. You will lead labor planning, staff training, and communications with clients to ensure service objectives are met.

The role requires a Highschool diploma or GED, 3 years in logistics, and 1 year in supervision, with forklift/MHE familiarity.

Qualifications

• Must have a Highschool diploma or GED
• 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution environment
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role
• Preferred: MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation
• Forklift training certification

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise inbound, outbound, and warehousing activities to meet productivity and service goals
• Communicate with client representatives and senior management on critical issues affecting operations
• Develop and implement procedures for safe, efficient operations in line with SOPs
• Lead hiring, training, and performance evaluations for warehouse staff
• Plan daily work schedules, delegate duties, and monitor progress throughout shifts
