Job summary

Intracruit Solutions is seeking a Tier 1 Network Support specialist for on-site work in Henderson near Las Vegas, with opportunities to transition to hire after six months. The role focuses on day-shift triage, basic network troubleshooting, ticket ownership, and close collaboration with senior engineers.

Responsibilities include monitoring alerts, incident management, runbook execution, and knowledge base updates to improve service reliability and change controls. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Networking, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in technical support, network operations, service desk, or infrastructure support.
• Foundational networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, VPN.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for Tier 1 network support and escalation.
• Monitor alerts and dashboards to identify issues and service-impacting events.
• Troubleshoot basic network incidents related to circuits, connectivity, and outages.
• Follow runbooks to execute Tier 1 changes and tasks.
• Create and maintain tickets with clear descriptions and closure details.
• Escalate unresolved issues with complete handoff to Tier 2 or engineers.
• Assist in reporting on network metrics and KPI trends.
• Contribute to and update the network knowledge base and runbooks.
