Job summary

Americhem in Dalton, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our Operations team on the 1st shift (7am–3pm).

Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining machinery, reading diagrams and manuals, and performing preventative maintenance. Candidates should have 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong troubleshooting skills. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant maintenance experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and apply problem-solving strategies.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment such as engines, motors, conveyors and production equipment.
• Work with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer specifications.
• Trouble shoot equipment failures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to machinery.
