Job summary

Shaw Industries seeks a Maintenance Technician B for the 1st shift (7:00am-3:00pm) in Georgia. The role focuses on keeping production equipment safe, reliable, and efficient through hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and proactive upkeep within a collaborative team.

You will perform preventive maintenance, participate in continuous improvement, and mentor entry-level technicians while supporting plant reliability goals.

Qualifications

• Strong background in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience using CMMS or similar systems to document work and manage parts.
• 3 years of maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a wide range of industrial equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, identifying root causes and taking corrective actions.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
• Support plant initiatives and upgrades through projects and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams and mentor junior technicians.
