Job summary

Techmer PM is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Dalton, Georgia facility. The role is 1st shift, 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, on-site.

Starting pay is $28.00 per hour, depending on experience, with eligible benefits from day one. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment to maximize uptime and safety. Responsibilities include working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, troubleshooting PLC

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience incl. electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with AC/DC drives, VFDs, servo motors, and controls wiring.
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• PLC input/output troubleshooting (programming not required).
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Complete maintenance work orders and CMMS entries.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Minimize downtime and support safe, compliant operations.
• Communicate repair needs with operators and supervision.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
