Job summary

Americhem in Dalton, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our Operations team on the 1st shift (7am–3pm).

Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining machinery, reading diagrams and manuals, and performing preventative maintenance. Candidates should have 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong troubleshooting skills. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant maintenance experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.

We are actively hiring a maintenance technician to join our team at our Dalton Plant. Americhem is one of the world's largest manufacturers of custom color concentrates.

Shift: 1st Shift (7am to 3pm)

Maintenance Tech Requirements/Preferred Qualifications

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Maintenance Tech Knowledge and Skills:

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot.
• knowledge in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Dependable, reliable, and self-motivated.
• Ability to trouble shoot issues and employ problem solving strategies.

Maintenance Tech Essential Duties:

• Repair and maintain various machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production equipment.
• Work with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
• Trouble Shooting equipment failures.
• Performing preventative maintenance, and repairs to machinery.
