Job summary

Techmer PM, LLC in Dalton, GA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for 1st shift (5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday). Starting rate is $28.00 per hour and up depending on experience. The role focuses on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to keep plant equipment safe, reliable, and efficient.

Responsibilities include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic work, CMMS data entry, and collaboration with production. Benefits and overtime may apply based on needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in industrial maintenance with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC inputs/outputs (PLC programming not required).
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools: multimeters, laptops, micrometers, calipers, infrared devices.
• Basic computer skills including email, MS Office, and CMMS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety policies and support a culture of safety.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance on production and support equipment.
• Complete preventive maintenance, work orders, and CMMS entries as assigned.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate effectively with operators and supervisors regarding equipment conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities in the CMMS.
• Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Provide guidance to machine operators on proper equipment operation.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
