Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift (7:00am–3:00pm) to repair and maintain equipment and facilities across our manufacturing operations. You will perform planned and predictive maintenance, diagnose failures, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems to keep production running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience, relevant electrical/PLC certifications, and strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of previous maintenance experience.
• Electrical and PLC certifications or training preferred/required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Good mathematical, mechanical/technical abilities and problem solving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upkeep of equipment and facilities, including planned and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose failures, replace components and troubleshoot using drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
• Repair machinery such as motors, conveyors and production equipment; test circuits and control systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and PLC-driven equipment.
• Follow OSHA safety policies and keep a clean, safe work area; support engineers as needed.
