Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for our Indiana facility. This 12-hour night shift (6 PM–6 AM, 2-2-3 schedule) focuses on 480V electrical systems, motors, drives, and PLC-controlled equipment in a manufacturing setting.

You will diagnose and repair issues, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with engineers to improve reliability and reduce downtime. A High School Diploma and technical maintenance training are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
3–5 years industrial maintenance with strong electrical troubleshooting.
Experience with 480V systems, motors, drives, and PLC-controlled equipment.

Responsibilities

Expert Troubleshooting: Locate and diagnose mechanical and electrical failures using meters, prints, and schematics.
Electrical Mastery: Repair and maintain high-voltage systems, motors, switches, and automated controls.
PLC Diagnostic: Use PLC experience to identify issues and restore production (ladder logic knowledge a plus).
Preventative Maintenance: Execute planned and predictive maintenance on conveyors, pneumatic tools, and production machinery.
Safe Operations: Perform complex wiring with Arc Flash safety standards and LOTO procedures.
Collaboration: Work with engineers and production teams to reduce downtime.
