Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician on the 1st shift (6 AM - 2:30 PM) to maintain uptime and reliability for mechanical and electrical manufacturing systems. You will perform planned and emergency repairs across a multi-craft environment on a collaborative 1st shift team.

The role requires 3+ years of experience or an industrial maintenance credential, with hands-on work in 3-phase power, PLCs, and safety-compliant maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-craft industrial maintenance experience or a Trade School Certification / Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with 3-phase power, PLC systems, relay logic, motor controls.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work short-notice overtime as production requires.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery including 3-phase electrical controls, PLC systems, DC drives, motors, conveyors.
• Execute predictive and preventative maintenance schedules, calibrations, and safety inspections.
• Partner with engineers and production to optimize equipment and reduce downtime.
• Maintain repair logs, procure replacement parts, and ensure OSHA compliance.
