Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician on a 12-hour night shift (6 PM–6 AM) to troubleshoot and repair 480V electrical systems, motors, drives, and PLC-controlled equipment in a manufacturing setting.

You will diagnose failures using meters and schematics, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety with Arc Flash and Lockout/Tagout procedures. Requires 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience and a high school diploma; on-site with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience with strong electrical troubleshooting.
• Manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience reading electrical schematics/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Expert Troubleshooting: Locate and diagnose mechanical and electrical failures using meters, detailed prints, and schematics.
• Electrical Mastery: Repair and maintain high-voltage systems (480V), motors, switches, and automated controls.
• PLC Diagnostic: Use PLC experience to identify issues and restore production (programming not required).
• Preventative Maintenance: Execute planned and predictive maintenance on conveyors and production machinery.
• Safe Operations: Perform complex wiring and repairs in accordance with Arc Flash and Lockout/Tagout standards.
• Collaboration: Partner with engineers and production teams to suggest improvements and reduce downtime.
