Job summary

Kerry, at the Rome, GA facility, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the day shift to support production and facilities. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment, HVAC, dust collection, and building systems, while upholding safety standards and quality policies.

The role requires 2–5 years of maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to document activities clearly.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Medium-level computer and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment and building systems.
• Adhere to Kerry LIFE Safety, Food Safety, GMP, HACCP policies.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Perform routine inspections of facility systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with Facilities Lead and vendors on HVAC, roofs, elevators, and other building systems.
• Complete maintenance records and work orders in a timely manner.
• Follow escalation protocols and reporting procedures.
