Jobot is hiring a Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift in Romeoville, IL. This on-site, permanent role involves performing repairs and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment, with a focus on reliability and safety.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of maintenance experience, basic PLC/VFD/HMI knowledge, CMMS familiarity, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced food-manufacturing environment. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 1–3 years of general maintenance in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Basic PLC, VFD, HMI theory and troubleshooting knowledge.
• CMMS familiarity: create work orders, log time.
• Basic ARC and MIG welding and fabrication skills.
• Operate shop equipment (mill, brake, press) at a basic level.
• Exposure to 5S and Lean Manufacturing; problem-solving basics.
• Able to follow SOPs, GMPs and safety policies.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; stand long hours; tolerate noise and varying conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Perform repair and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing malfunctions.
• Operate PLC, VFD, and HMI systems at basic-to-intermediate level.
• Assist with equipment setup, start-up, operation, shutdown, and disassembly.
• Conduct shift handoffs on the production floor.
• Spend shifts on production floor performing PM tasks and observations.
• Ensure machine guarding and safe operation at all times.
• Create notifications and log time in CMMS.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and machinery.
• Assist in writing operating parameters and procedures with the maintenance team.
• Uphold GMP, HACCP, Allergen Control and Food Defense policies.
