Job summary

Kerry is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Rochester, MN facility. The role involves repairing, installing, and troubleshooting equipment on a 12-hour night shift (4:00 PM–4:30 AM) on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

You will work with the maintenance manager to ensure safety, quality, and compliance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, 3+ years in food manufacturing, and mechanical/welding skills with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minnesota First or Second Class B Boiler license desired.
• BUM/FAST program (or equivalent) highly desired.
• 3+ years' experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred.
• Mechanical repair, welding, use of hand tools and power tools, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently or with production personnel to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and building systems.
• Install and troubleshoot equipment and respond to work orders.
• Follow GMP, safety and environmental regulations; maintain housekeeping.
• Accurately complete inventory and shift notes; communicate with team.
