Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience is required.
• Previous shift leader, key holder, supervisor, or restaurant leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Must be dependable and able to work scheduled day shifts consistently.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to coach and hold team members accountable.
• Must understand the importance of food safety and restaurant cleanliness.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform normal restaurant duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members during daily shifts.
• Provide friendly, fast, and accurate customer service.
• Ensure sandwiches and other menu items are prepared according to Jersey Mike’s standards.
• Assign tasks and keep team members productive throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe restaurant.
• Handle opening and daytime shift responsibilities.
• Assist with cash handling and register procedures.
• Monitor food quality, portioning, and product freshness.
• Help train and develop new and existing team members.
• Handle customer concerns professionally.
• Support management with inventory, prep, and daily restaurant operations.
• Set the example for teamwork, urgency, cleanliness, and hospitality.
