Job summary

Babylist seeks a day-shift supervisor for pick and pack at our Ohio fulfillment center. You will lead a floor team, own shift throughput and accuracy, and ensure safe, timely order fulfillment on a 4/10 schedule (Mon–Thu, 7:00am–5:30pm).

You’ll report to the FC Day Shift Operations Manager. Expect hands-on leadership with AI-driven workflow support and daily performance management across throughputs and on-time shipping.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading people in warehouse or distribution.
• 3+ years in warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution operations.
• Fluent in a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Experience supervising frontline pick-and-pack teams.
• Able to manage shift metrics: throughput, accuracy, on-time shipping.
• Safety-first mindset with material handling equipment.
• Comfort handling pressure and shifting priorities.
• Proficient with AI daily in operations.

Responsibilities

• Run the day-shift pick and pack operation—assign labor, balance the floor, and keep orders flowing to hit daily targets.
• Lead a team of pick and pack associates—direction, coaching, training, and performance management.
• Own your shift’s core metrics: pick/pack accuracy, throughput, and on-time fulfillment.
• Keep safety front and center—enforce standards and run safety routines.
• Spot bottlenecks and fix them—reallocate staff and address process gaps on the floor.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and training to keep quality and pace consistent.
• Scale the team during higher volume times without sacrificing accuracy or safety.
