Job summary

Lowe's in Springfield, IL is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and answer questions. You will help locate merchandise, stock shelves, and process orders with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic proficiency
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs unassisted

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock and replenish shelves as needed
• Process orders and deliveries accurately
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service
• Prepare department merchandise to meet customer needs (paint, pipe, wood, drywall, blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Perform other duties as assigned
