Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate in Bloomington, IL. You will greet customers, help them locate products, and ensure a smooth checkout while supporting store operations.

The role emphasizes strong service, product knowledge, and teamwork in a busy retail environment. You'll interact with customers throughout the day, respond to questions, and adapt to department needs such as Appliances, Hardware, or Plumbing.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying information)
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic
• Able to stand/sit for long periods and perform duties
• Able to minimally lift 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, hardware)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
