Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus surgical technician training.
• BLS and AHA certifications.
• CST certification and TS-C designation.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to patient- and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field and assist intraoperatively.
• Assist with gowning and gloving for the surgical team.
• Prepare the sterile field and instrument setup.
• Assist with intraoperative safety checks and time-outs.
• Provide thorough handoff reports to relief personnel.
• Support decontamination and sterile supply areas.
• Precept other team members as needed.
