Job summary

Winchester Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Clinical Associate for a 36-hour week on day shifts in the Float Pool. Under supervision, you will assist with daily living activities, reposition and ambulate patients, and support care delivery in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent, BLS, and one of CNA, nursing student with rotation, or 3 months of clinical care experience; CATP completion preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required/preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• One of: CNA, nursing student with med-surg rotation, or 3 months of clinical care experience.
• Completion of Winchester Hospital CATP is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• -Reposition and ambulate patients.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds.
• Transport patients, beds, supplies and equipment.
• Collect, label and transport specimens.
• Retrieve and sign out blood products.
• Accurately perform point-of-care testing and obtain vitals/weights.
• Remove Foley catheters and saline locks.
