Job summary

Winchester Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a Clinical Associate for a 12-hour/week day shift. Under a nurse’s direction, you will support care, assist with daily activities, reposition patients, transport supplies, and help with specimens and vital signs to boost patient comfort and safety.

Requirements include a high school diploma, BLS, and either CNA status, nursing student with clinical rotation, three months of care experience, or completion of the CATP training program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required.
• English reading/writing and verbal communication essential.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living.
• Repositioning and ambulating patients.
• Making beds (occupied and unoccupied) and transporting patients/equipment.
• Collecting, labeling and transporting specimens.
• Obtaining vital signs and weights; monitoring intake/output.
• Removes Foley catheters and saline locks as directed.
