Job summary

Winchester Hospital, a 223-bed regional facility in the BILH system, seeks a Clinical Associate for 36 hours weekly, daytime shifts. Under nurse supervision you assist with activities of daily living and patient safety, contributing to comfort and care.

The role includes vital signs, specimen transport, bed management, and participation in patient transport. Education: HS diploma preferred; BLS required; CATP training program completion preferred; English communication essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• BLS – Basic Life Support certification required.
• Must have/be one of the following: CNA, nursing student with clinical rotation, three months of clinical care experience, or completion of Winchester Hospital: Clinical Associate Training Program (CATP).

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and patient mobility.
• Take vitals, weights, and collect specimens.
• Transport patients, beds, supplies and equipment.
• Reposition and ambulate patients; assist in bed management.
• Remove Foley catheters and saline locks; maintain intake/output.
