Job summary

ADAPT Community Network in New York seeks an Assistant Director of Program Services to lead high-quality, person-centered programming for individuals served. Under supervision, you will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, support regulatory compliance, and drive program development and expansion.

You will ensure services promote independence, dignity, and inclusion while maintaining a safe environment for individuals and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related discipline required.
• At least three (3) years of progressive supervisory/management experience in developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers, email, and common software applications.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, train, supervise, evaluate, and support program and clinical staff.
• Support design and implementation of program goals aligned with mission and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee development and evaluation of treatment and service plans for individualized care.
• Ensure adherence to OPWDD, state and federal regulations; implement quality assurance processes.
