Job summary

Quincy Healthcare & Senior Living is seeking qualified Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to promote and restore residents’ health. You will work with a variety of residents, and you will provide direct nursing care along with psychological support when required. Our pay rate has recently increased, with excellent shift differentials, weekend differential, and a pick up pay bonus.

LPN starting wage is $27.75 to $31.50. Night shift differential $2.50 and weekend differential $1.00.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current LPN license.
• Experience with long-term care and elderly residents.
• Ability to pass medications and perform treatments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents’ care requirements and address their needs.
• Provide psychological support and nurture a compassionate environment.
• Resolve or report residents’ needs or problems.
• Pass medications and perform treatments.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and care provided.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities

• Identify patients’ care requirements, focus on their needs and act on them
• Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support
• Resolve or report on residents’ needs or problems
• Pass medications and perform treatments
• Monitor and record patient’s condition and document provided care services. Enter orders and perform assessments.
