The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Day and Night Shift Maintenance Tech to work at a company located in the Boise, ID area!

Job Location

Salary

$30 to $40 depending on experience

Shift Schedule

• Day Shift: 6:00 am - 6:30 pm
• Night Shift: 6:00 pm - 6:30 am
• 2-2-3 schedule where employees will work every other weekend.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• 90% mechanical and 10% electrical.
• Looking for a mechanic/technician.
• Must be from food manufacturing - co-packaging industry.
• Refrigeration experience - a bonus.
• Conduct maintenance according to skill level and pursuant to safety policies and procedures.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make-adjustments.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those unusual situations to the facility maintenance manager.
• Utilizing Microsoft Office, order and schedule parts as well as jobs.
• Perform work in a safe manner and use Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Has completed or is working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
• Able to communicate and take direction from Sanitation Manager and communicate effectively with line workers, Leads, Supervisors and Plant Manager.
• Attention to detail.
• Legible record-keeping and data entry skills.
• Must be highly motivated, flexible and have creative problem-solving abilities.
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Welding and fabrication, full understanding of 3 Phase electrical, tree phase motor controls.
• Troubleshoot AC & DC drives.
