Job summary

Michaels Stores in Forest Lake, MN is seeking a Store role focused on delivering friendly customer service and efficient checkout experiences. You will assist customers, participate in truck unloading and stocking, and help maintain a well-merchandised store while supporting cross-functional in-store processes.

The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends and early mornings, and applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
• Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support in stock recovery and maintaining a well-merchandised store.
• Perform store in stock optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
