Aston Carter is seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst in Houston, TX, with specialized knowledge of Certified Payroll to support our growing payroll operations team. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local prevailing wage rules, including Davis-Bacon Act reporting for public and government-funded projects.

The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years in certified payroll, familiarity with union and construction payroll, and strong reconciliation and auditing skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in certified payroll.
• Experience working in the construction industry and union payroll.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with prevailing wage laws under the Davis-Bacon Act.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of certified payroll data for public and government-funded projects.
• Support payroll operations through processing, reconciliation, and auditing.
• Perform data entry related to payroll processing.
• Handle payroll tax calculations and accounting duties.
